2020 • Online art project | A multidisciplinary forum for cultural operators amid a pandemic
In April 2020, Ballet Contemporâneo do Norte invited independent artists and researchers to participate in the (Re=)Iniciação online project. The invitation was aimed at everyone whose professional activity had decreased or stopped entirely due to the pandemic. All professionals willing and able to offer ideas, words, images, sounds, movements, or anything else they thought appropriate were welcome.
16 people — performers, visual artists, researchers, and writers — were selected for the project and participated in constructing a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary forum over three weeks.
☀️ I designed the visual look for the project and produced a video and music piece.
The results of the (Re=)Iniciação were opened to the public on May 9, 2020 on their online platform, at: https://www.balletcontemporaneonorte.com/reiniciacao (The website is in Portuguese).
